At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. We focus our efforts in designing an innovative, safe, silent, clean and affordable aircraft that will be able to blend into existing infrastructures and regulations to ease its deployment and maximise social acceptance.

Le poste

You will be responsible for leading industrial and supply chain activities of the company. You will ensure the company reaches the maturity milestones to produce and sell its product accordingly to its business plan. As Director, you will integrate the Executive Committee of the company and report directly to the CEO. Your interfaces will be both internal and external to drive following activities:

  • Define the industrialisation strategy of the company

  • Set up the supply chain to support the Ascendance product development & production

  • Deliver all the product and prototypes on time, on quality and on cost

  • Lead the FAL project to deliver both products ATEA & STERNA

  • Manage the Industrial & Supply Chain team

  • Monitor the production cost objective and closely work on the design to cost activity with the Engineering & Programme functions

  • Get the POA accreditation from EASA

Profil recherché

  • You have 15 years or more of experience in production, industrialisation and supply chain

  • You acquired a proven experience in setting up new Final Assembly Line

  • You developed good knowledge of industrial processes

  • You demonstrated the ability to manage international production team (technicians, operators and engineers)

  • You experienced Aerospace standards

  • You are reliable, accountable, and autonomous in setting your priorities 

  • You have excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in French and English to effectively convey ideas and information to various stakeholders and teams

  • You are organized, solution-oriented, easy to talk to and have the ability to coordinate projects

  • You know how to have a global vision to ensure a step by step follow-up and anticipate expectations
