Nous recrutons un/une Interconnect Billing SpecialistTransaction pour un de nos Clients dans le secteur de Télécommunication

Responsible for Managing the Interconnect Billing System and reporting Interconnect activities:

1. To act as Process owner for the interconnect billing modules within Insight systems

2. To perform daily checks below on the interconnect and roaming stream :

• Perform daily checks to ensure all files from CSS, 3GPP and SSP are processed.

• Ensure that Interconnect Minutes are in line with previous days.

• Ensure that Incoming and Outgoing interconnect charges are in line with previous days.

• Check for new trunks detected.

• Ensure that the Least Cost Routing module of the Interconnect Billing System runs properly and report to the Manager Billing systems on a daily basis on loss caused by the non-optimal routing.

• Report any issue.

• Check on the data availabilities for all reports required by the Business in areas of responsibility.

3. To provide Daily and Monthly reports to line manager

• To submit monthly Interconnect financial report for review to the line manager

• To submit monthly Interconnect split per Profile report for review to the line manager

• Provide daily least cost routing report to operations.

• Provide monthly report of all rate sheets received and uploaded for approval to the line manager

4. Rate, Dial code and Trunk configuration

• Configure International rates within two working days from receiving job order.

• Configure National and Direct Links rates within two working days from receiving job order

• Configure new trunks within two days of receiving JO

• Ensure accuracy of the rate configured and applied for interconnect and roaming system

5. Ad-Hoc Reports , Investigations and reconciliation

• Provide inputs for the reconciliation on any interconnect disputes

• Provide new required report related to interconnect stream.

• Ensure that data of the Interconnect System is always up to date.

• Ensure that reconciliations of interconnect traffic statistics with all partners (international carriers and national operators) are performed every month. All issues (Discrepancies) will need to be reported to the line manager and logged with Revenue Assurance, investigated and fixed as soon as possible.

6. Maintains and manages an incidents log book for all issues related to the Interconnect and follow up with system owners and application providers in case

7. Involvement in month end procedures and tasks within billing systems.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

1. Invoice processing time:

- Average time to generate and send

interconnection billing report.

- Processing times compared to contractual

deadlines.

2. Collection of payments:

- Percentage of payments received on time.

- Amount of late payments.

- Average duration of late payments.

3. Billing Disputes:

- Number and percentage of disputed invoices.

- Average dispute resolution time.

- Success rate of resolutions in favour of the company.

· Minimum 2-years working experience in a similar position in the Telecom industry or related sector (Financial institutions, ICT, etc.) and exposure to complex billing type of systems or evidence of involvement in billing business processes would be a plus

· Must understand relational database concepts and must possess practical knowledge of SQL. Oracle RDBMS and PL-SQL are advantageous

· Must understand operating systems general concepts and principles for system administration. Practical experience administering any operating system and web server would be a plus

· Must possess software troubleshooting skills and must be able to analyse data

Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:

· Self-starter and able to integrate team

· Degree (Minimum Bachelor) in any of the following fields of study: Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Information Systems.

· Any IT Certification or equivalent in any of the following fields would be a plus: databases, operating systems, software development, IT controls

· Writing and oral communication skills in English and French. Level: Intermediate to Expert
