The German site Bertin GmbH, located in Frankfurt a.M. for 40 years, specializes in the development, production and maintenance of measuring devices for ionizing radiation. Our products for radioactivity measurement networks, radon measurement devices and other radiation measurement technology are used worldwide by industry, research and authorities, among others.
Our Product Management team is responsible for defining, organizing, and maintaining the technical configurations of our environmental radiation monitoring systems. We are looking for a motivated student or young professional to support the development of a configuration management tool for environmental probes used in gamma radiation monitoring.
The goal of this project is to create an intelligent and flexible tool (based primarily on MS Excel) to handle the wide range of configuration options for our product portfolio, ensuring consistency, traceability, and ease of use for internal and external stakeholders.
Your Main Tasks:
Develop a configuration tool using MS Excel, including macro programming (VBA).
Map and document configuration options for environmental gamma probes.
Create user-friendly interfaces and automate data processing where applicable.
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to validate configurations.
Support the improvement of configuration documentation and processes.
Your Profile:
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including macro programming (VBA).
Good technical understanding and ability to grasp complex product configurations.
High level of self-initiative and strong self-organization.
Very good English skills (written and spoken).
Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.
