The German site Bertin GmbH, located in Frankfurt a.M. for 40 years, specializes in the development, production and maintenance of measuring devices for ionizing radiation. Our products for radioactivity measurement networks, radon measurement devices and other radiation measurement technology are used worldwide by industry, research and authorities, among others.
Our Methods Department is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the foundation of our production data and processes. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student or young professional to support us in improving and harmonizing our Items Database, Bills of Material (BOMs), and Routings.
Your Main Tasks:
Database maintenance: Analyze the current status of item data, clean and update entries (delete, add, or modify items).
Bills of Material (BOM): Review existing BOMs, create new ones, and update existing structures.
Routings: Check and complete missing routings, update and optimize existing ones.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and consistency within the ERP system.
Your Profile:
First experience or solid understanding of databases and/or ERP systems.
Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing flows.
High self-initiative and strong self-organization skills.
Very good command of English (written and spoken).
Structured, precise, and reliable working style.
