You will join the Research and Development team at our site in Cergy, Créteil or Isle d’Abeau.
Under the responsibility of the System Department Manager, you will join a dynamic team to
support innovation.
Your challenges:
Within the System Engineering Department, you will be working in close collaboration with the System
Specification and the System Architecture teams and will interface with the other metiers (Hardware &
Software). You will be in charge of the development of technical solutions for embedded electronic
projects, including the power circuit such as Inverters, On board Chargers, DC/DC converters, … as well
as the control boards.
Your main missions will be to propose Electrical System architectures, Define Drive control Algorithms
and control loops, simulate the electrical systems with associated Control to clarify electrical design
constraints, control stability and performance achievement, robustness, all aligned with Project Technical
Specification.
You will be in charge to develop the models of the Electrical power circuit, develop the control algorithms,
test using test benches or Real Time simulation (HIL). You will actively participate to technical reviews.
Main responsibilities:
● Build Simulation Platforms with Physical system and control strategies
● Define and develop Control Strategies for Power Electronics Converters such as Inverters,
DC/DC, resonant converters type LLC, CLLC, ...that optimize performances, stability and overall
cost
● Contribute in electrical drivetrain system optimization proposing new power system architectures
● Identify Real Time simulation constraints and define best modelling solution
● Build / Contribute to technical Specifications for SW functions to be integrated
● Contribute in Integration and Validation of the products, including vehicle tests when required.
● Understand Standards and Regulations impacting the design of the product
● Execute design studies on projects and deliver technical reports
● Understand and apply VSeA process, standards and best practices
Qualifications
● 5+ experience in Electrical System design or Drives Control Law or Power Electronics design
engineering acquired on embedded systems.
● Experience in model-based design (e.g. Matlab-Simulink)
● Experience with PWM converters topologies, Voltage generation
● Experience in Modelling, strong mathematical skills
● Experience in Real Time Simulation, FPGA modelling not mandatory but is a plus)
Qualifications
● 5+ experience in Electrical System design or Drives Control Law or Power Electronics design
engineering acquired on embedded systems.
● Experience in model-based design (e.g. Matlab-Simulink)
