Reporting to his subsidiary's Chief Executive Officer, the Life Insurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of the Life Insurance division, ensuring the profitability and sustainability of the portfolio, ensuring compliance with the requirements of Sierra Leone’s insurance regulatory framework, developing savings, protection, and retirement products, and ensuring the effective management of technical and prudential risks.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following key activities :

1. Contribute to the development of the Life Insurance portfolio ;

2. Oversee the technical management of life insurance policies ;

3. Help manage technical liabilities ; 

4. Ensure regulatory and prudential compliance ;

5. Ensure quality service for policyholders

Education

• Master’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Applied Mathematics, or Management.

Experience

• At least 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, including at least 5 years in a life insurance management role.

• Thorough understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to life insurance in Sierra Leone.
