About the role:
Lift Truck Driver will use the lift truck to transfer materials and finished goods to support the manufacturing process. They will ensure the lines are adequately supplied with materials to complete all aspects of the manufacturing process.
This position will work our day shift 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.
What you’ll do:
Transfer palletized raw materials and finished goods to various locations
Load / move finished products to the warehouse
Remove scrap bins from lines and dispose
Relocate garbage bins for scheduled pick-up
Bring drums to the coating lines as required
Organize locations of palletized goods to utilize space and optimize workflow
Scan all materials to proper location
Assist operators with removing packaging from raw metal
Observe levels of compound and mix prior to placing on production lines
Complete lift truck inspection checklist prior to lift truck operation
What you’ll bring to the role:
Licensed Lift Truck driver
Minimum 2 years’ experience driving a lift truck in a manufacturing environment
Experience driving a sitting counterbalance forklift is an asset
Basic English (verbal & written)
Radio Frequency Scanner experience is an asset
Ability to read and understand production schedules
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong organizational skills
Ability to lift 45 lbs

Training Rate $25.00/hr. Fully Trained Rate $26.00/hr. + Profit Share Eligibility
