Job description

Sigfox USA is looking for a Logistics Specialist who’ll be responsible for all facets of equipment and materials movement, inbound and outbound logistics workflows and processes, during the entire order cycle. Someone in this role is also responsible for managing the 3PL provider in the following areas: delivery assurance, supply chain scheduling, inventory, and asset management.
 
The selected candidate will interface with vendors, general contractors, internal and external customers, the 3PL provider, and supply chain in the U.S. and France.
 
The Logistics Specialist must be organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in following logistics processes and best practices, with high level of proficiency using SAP, Microsoft Excel and Access.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics workflows and processes during the entire order cycle, using SAP processes and workflows to create, maintain and reconcile orders.
  • Responsible for all areas of inventory management and asset tracking, utilizing exiting systems such as SAP and Sigfox Logistics Trackers.
  • Demonstrated experience and solid understanding of inventory management processes, i.e., FIFO, JIT.
  • Process, pack, and ship orders, utilizing the equipment and materials inventory in the Dallas office.
  • Implement material replenishment and flow procedures to increase inventory accuracy, promote inventory quality, and reduce material pinch points throughout the fulfillment phase.
  • Continuously improve the order management process for Sigfox equipment and construction material.
  • Track accuracy, quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency for all orders.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage systems.
  • Ensure all materials are received promptly and accurately from outside suppliers, vendors, and customers.
  • Experienced with Freight Forwarding and International Shipping and Receiving.

Profile

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Required: 2-5 years proven record of successful logistics, supply chain and material coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Logistics or Supply Chain, Business Administration preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with fixed asset / inventory is a plus.
  • Proficient in standard logistics software such as SAP; creating, maintaining, and reconciling orders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; using functions and pivot tables. MS Access proficiency preferred.
  • Team player who takes initiative and works constructively with others to achieve team goals
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid team setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
  • Safely lift, lower, carry and handle large boxes and heavy equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Domestic travel within the U.S. might be required to meet the position’s responsibilities.
