At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. We focus our efforts in designing an innovative, safe, silent, clean and affordable aircraft that will be able to blend into existing infrastructures and regulations to ease its deployment and maximise social acceptance.
If you are looking for a place where you will have a direct impact on very ambitious products, where you will work close to the hardware and where you can witness the result of your hard work quickly, board ATEA and come fly with us toward the future of aviation!
Your role : 🔎
As a methods preparer with experience in the aeronautical industry, you will be responsible for defining the assembly sequences and instructions, in agreement with the design and tooling office, which will enable the first prototype aircraft to be assembled, while preparing for future series production activities.
As part of the production team, you will interface with the design office at all stages of the design to ensure the feasibility of manufacturing, assembly and maintenance operations on the aircraft.
As part of the future assembly line project, you will put in place the best assembly and control practices to ensure that aircraft are manufactured to cost/time/quality targets.
Your main responsibilities will be:
→ Defining the assembly sequence for prototype and production aircraft
→ Write the assembly (systems and electrical installations) and inspection routines
→ Participate in drawing up ground test routines.
→ Specify industrial requirements (machines, equipment, tools, etc.)
→ Collaborative design for manufacturing
→ Follow-up non-conformities and deal with them with the design office.
