At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. Your role : 🔎

The marketing & partnership lead is in charge of performing market research and studies. He/she is also responsible for preparing specific business cases for commercial prospects to support the business development effort. He/She will also be involved in building economic/business model to assess the business potential of our product (esp. economic models on behalf of customers)

He/she is responsible for keeping an eye on the competition by managing the competitive intelligence. 

He/She will also be the point of contact for business partnerships to ensure the day-to-day delivery of these. 

His/her responsibilities range from: 

  • Market research
  • Market study
  • Competitive intelligence
  • Manage partnerships
  • Build economical/business models

Your main responsibilities will be : 


  • You perform market research and studies to directly feed the strategy of the company and are involved in defining product orientations
  • You keep an eye on our competition to know their every moves and build and maintain a rock-solid competitive and market intelligence system


  • You are our point of contact when it comes to partnerships, to organize and follow up on meetings with the partner, ensure the interface with engineering if needed and ensure the delivery of the scope of the partnerships
  • From this partnership you contribute to our product roadmap by synthetizing our partners feedback and specific requirements to redirect to the engineering team to be integrated into our product


  • You are the one building the business models and crunching numbers to answer the specific questions of our customers when it comes to the business side of our future products
  • You work closely with business development to prepare the various business cases that will then be presented to the customer to convince them to use our products!
  • Thanks to your knowledge of the market, you also prepare beforehand some back-of-the-envelope analyses to help better assess the viability of a new market segment

Profil recherché

The job has been made for you if you : 🛠

  • Have 5 to 10 years of experience in a strategy dept., consultancy firm or in fleet planning/marketing at an airline
  • Have knowledge about Aeronautics or aviation market
  • Are comfortable with Google + “new” apps
  • Have analytical skills
  • Have experience with business cases building
  • Are fluent in English
