Role Purpose
Drive the strategy, launch, and day-to-day performance of all marketing initiatives in the French market.
You will own the local marketing P&L, oversee the full media mix, manage agencies and internal stakeholders, and lead the French marketing team—ensuring campaigns deliver measurable growth, on time and on budget.
What You’ll Do
1) Market Activation & Campaign Execution
Translate the global brand strategy into a localized, compliant, and effective plan for France.
Build and operationalize campaign launch roadmaps (assets, media activation, PR/earned, measurement, contingencies).
Align cross-functional stakeholders (Product, PR/Comms, Sales, Legal/Compliance, Analytics) to keep execution smooth and risk-free.
2) Media Strategy & Optimization
Define and optimize the French media mix to deliver awareness, consideration, traffic, and acquisition targets.
Run weekly optimizations (audiences, flighting, creative rotation, budget reallocation).
Manage a broad channel portfolio: TV/AV, streaming/video, OOH, influencers, digital brand, performance marketing, and press.
3) Team, Agency & Partner Leadership
Manage and coach the two junior members of the French marketing team.
Lead daily interactions with creative, media, and influencer agencies: briefing, scope definition, SLAs, QA, approvals.
Provide partners with clear guardrails, updated assets, and timely access to product/app changes.
4) Measurement & Performance
Define a KPI framework spanning brand and acquisition: awareness, consideration, GRPs/TRPs, reach/frequency, traffic, leads, CAC/CPA.
Partner with Analytics on MMM, experimentation, baselines, and weekly performance reviews with clear action steps.
Maintain tight alignment with Performance Marketing to avoid cannibalization and maximize ROI.
5) Governance, Budget & Executional Excellence
Own the France marketing budget (~€5M), monthly forecasting, vendor tracking, POs, and invoicing.
Negotiate agency contracts and commercial terms.
Run structured operating rhythms (weekly syncs, monthly/quarterly business reviews, decision-ready dashboards).
5–6 years of marketing experience, ideally in an international company or multi-market environment.
Proven ability to run integrated campaigns in France with measurable business outcomes.
Strong command of brand + performance levers (planning, reach/frequency, GRPs/TRPs, digital acquisition, audience strategy).
Experience managing agencies and junior talent.
High data literacy (CAC/CPA, funnel diagnostics, experimentation, MMM).
Comfortable working in regulated sectors (fintech/financial services a plus).
Interest in trading or personal finance appreciated.
Fluent in French and English.
Consulting background is a strong plus (structured thinking, stakeholder management, analytical mindset).
