As we expand our service offerings, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to establish and lead our Project Management Office (PMO) services, focusing on delivering high-quality PMO solutions for complex energy software projects.
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in project management and PMO leadership, particularly within the energy sector.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the PMO framework, identifying potential clients, leading the response to tenders, recruiting and training PMO consultants, and ensuring the successful delivery of PMO services to our clients.
Your main tasks will be:
PMO Offering Development:
• Define and structure the PMO service offering, tailored to the needs of the energy sector and complex software project environments.
• Develop methodologies, frameworks, and processes for PMO services that ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with industry best practices.
Client Identification and Business Development:
• Identify potential clients and opportunities within the energy sector for PMO services.
• Lead the preparation and submission of proposals and tenders, showcasing the value of PMO services in managing complex energy software projects.
Recruitment and Team Building:
• Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of PMO consultants with the necessary skills and experience to deliver high-quality PMO services.
• Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the PMO team remains current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies.
PMO Implementation and Oversight:
• Oversee the implementation of PMO services across client projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to PMO consultants, ensuring they deliver high-quality services that meet client expectations.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding PMO services, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in PMO and project management.
• Continuously improve the PMO service offering, incorporating client feedback and lessons learned from project experiences.
Financial and Resource Management:
• Manage the budget and financial performance of the PMO service line, ensuring profitability and growth.
• Allocate resources effectively across projects to optimize performance and ensure successful delivery.
You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field and you have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a PMO.
You are the ideal candidate if:

You have already demonstrated the ability to develop and implement PMO frameworks and methodologies;
You have experience in business development, including responding to tenders and proposals;
