Le poste

We are looking for an MLI (Multi-Layer Insulation) Operator to carry out the manufacturing of thermal protection systems. These MLI systems consist of the assembly of multiple insulating layers with specific properties, intended for satellite thermal control. The operator performs these tasks manually, in strict accordance with quality, safety, and performance standards.

Your responsibilities:

• Prepare the work environment and ensure the appropriate level of qualification and skills beforeimplementing the work instructions.

• Work in a cleanroom environment (ISO-class cleanroom).

• Carry out all activities and tasks defined in the manufacturing file, in strict compliance with the providedinstructions, including:o Precision manual worko Handling of thin films (Kapton, Mylar, aluminized films, etc.)o Multi-layer assemblieso Cutting, bonding, fine sewing, or fastening operations

• Ensure full traceability of operations (step validation, material traceability, documentation and records).

• Perform cutting and assembly operations of the various components in accordance with qualitystandards.

• Carry out visual inspections of the product at each critical stage.

• Coordinate with the Quality Control department for product verification and compliance.

• Package the finished product and ensure proper storage of tools, equipment, and consumables.

• Alert the Quality department and, if necessary, inform the direct supervisor in the event of any incident,deviation, or anomaly.

• Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations, quality requirements, andschedule and budget objectives.


Profil recherché

• Experience in an industrial production environment (minimum 2 years) involving basic activities requiringhigh levels of accuracy and precision.

• Skills in cutting, bonding, fine sewing, or fastening operations.

• Strong adherence to procedures and work instructions.

• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

• Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, or technical documentation.

• English proficiency at B2/C1 level; German is a plus.
