Reporting to his subsidiary's Chief Executive Officer, the Non-Life Insurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of the Non-Life division, ensuring the profitability of the portfolios, managing underwriting risks, supervising claims management, and ensuring that operations comply with the requirements of Sierra Leone’s insurance regulatory framework.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following key activities:

1. Contribute to the development of the Non-Life portfolio; 

2. Ensure the quality of underwriting activities ; 

3. Contribute to technical risk management ; 

4. Ensure effective claims management ; 

5. Ensure regulatory and prudential compliance 

Education

• Master’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or equivalent.

Experience

• At least 8 years of experience in non-life insurance, including at least 5 years in a management role.

• Thorough understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to non-life insurance in Sierra Leone.
