We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Risk Specialist capable of understanding cyber risk and support organizations in addressing them effectively. You’ll conduct security assessments, define risk mitigation strategies, and ensure that digital systems and services maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability needed to operate securely.
As a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, you will:
Identify, analyse, and continuously assess cybersecurity-related risks of critical IT systems and solutions
Conduct security risk assessments ensuring systems uphold confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA triad)
Draft and manage IT Security Plans (ISPs) based on risk findings, aligned with institutional policies and industry standards
Propose and validate effective security controls to mitigate or treat identified risks
Provide advisory to system owners and senior management concerning cybersecurity strategies and measures
Supporting business stakeholders to evaluate potential risks related to cybersecurity investments and initiatives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to embed risk-conscious decision-making into projects
Experience & Requirements
Experience in conducting structured security assessments of complex information systems
Familiarity with security governance in large public sector or institutional environments
Knowledge of the ITSRM2 methodology is a strong asset
Experience in working with EU institutions is a plus
Hard Skills
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity risk management frameworks and standards
Experience drafting and implementing IT Security Plans
Ability to propose and evaluate security controls
Understanding of cyber risk and threat landscape
Soft Skills
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proactive approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation
Comfortable working in multilingual, multicultural environments
