Your role : 🔎
You are an experienced structural design engineer with an aerospace background and have demonstrated experience in leading the design and the structural analysis of composite structures. Within a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary team you will develop and refine the state-of-the-art structure of the aircraft.
Your main responsibilities will be :
Lead a multi-functional design team, covering all structural design, stress, system installation design and interiors design.
Responsible for composite and metallic design of the airframe, interiors, airframe structural configuration layouts and detailed design including structural layouts, preliminary sizing, joint layouts and part design.
Provide technical leadership of the structures and interiors team. You will be responsible for the design, test, certification and support of the aircraft airframe and its structural systems.
You will also represent the Airframe team at program/technical reviews as well as customers/supplier meetings, ensuring the engineering definition meets all stakeholder requirements. You will also ensure adherence to all engineering processes/standards, and participate in design reviews to meet certification, cost, schedule and manufacturability goals.
Where do we stand?
You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed with many issues to tackle regarding communications networks and associated developments.

Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree (MSc, PhD)
Minimum 10 years of professional experience as structural design engineer designing and performing structural analysis and FEA of composite and metal structure.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a team lead.
Extensive CAD experience and demonstrated ability in developing and designing product solutions
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools
Experience in the design and implementation of composite structures as solutions to challenging engineering requirement
Track record of successfully performing light-weight, composite design projects
Familiarity with a variety of high-performance composite manufacturing processes, process limitations, and post-processing of advanced composite components
