KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as primary contact between pentest teams, external pentest vendors, and stakeholders
Schedule and coordinate end to end penetration testing engagements with internal teams and external security vendors within alignment to X Pentest Framework
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal security policies.
Communicate testing timelines, regular status updates, progress reports, potential impacts, deviations in the pentest process and required downtime windows to all stakeholders
Resolve conflicts and negotiate testing windows with competing priorities.
Maintain comprehensive records of all pentest activities and findings in the company approved tools.
Compile and organize vulnerability reports from security assessments.
Ensure proper classification and handling of sensitive security findings.
Archive and maintain historical records of all pentest engagements and outcomes.
Identify bottlenecks in the current pentest process and propose solutions
Contribute to the development of pentest standards and procedures
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging threats
Share opportunities for process optimization or efficiency improvements
MANAGEMENT REPORTING & STATUS UPDATES
Provide concise weekly summaries of completed activities and accomplishments
Flag any urgent issues, blockers, or escalations requiring immediate attention
Highlight any resource constraints or dependencies that need resolution
Report on stakeholder interactions and feedback received
Share metrics on pentest activities completed (e.g., assessments started/completed, findings identified)
Share opportunities for process optimization or efficiency improvements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
4 -5 years in cybersecurity with exposure to Penetration testing or vulnerability management
Experience coordinating security assessments or technical projects
Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies and frameworks (OWASP, NIST, etc.)
Experience with status tracking tools like SILVA, JIRA and power BI dashboards
Technical Knowledge
Understanding of networking, infrastructure, and application security fundamentals
Familiarity with vulnerability management and remediation processes
Basic understanding of IT systems and security tools
Knowledge of pentest tools and methodologies
Management & Coordination Skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple parallel pentest engagements
Experience working with global teams and external vendors

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Security certifications (CEH, OSCP, Security+, or similar)
Experience with vulnerability management platforms
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.)
Exposure to Agile or similar project management methodologies
Background in IT service management (ITIL)
Experience with status tracking tools and power BI dashboards
Previous experience in security consulting or managed security services
Knowledge of cloud security testing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
