PLM Engineer - Internship (all gender)

At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. We focus our efforts in designing an innovative, safe, silent, clean and affordable aircraft that will be able to blend into existing infrastructures and regulations to ease its deployment and maximise social acceptance.

Your role : 🔎

You will be part of our System Engineering and V&V, Configuration management and Tests team. We are a very dynamic team supporting design offices and production!

You will actively contribute to put in place our PLM which is the backbone of a company and will embed all the data Ascendance is producing !

You will cover the complete aircraft development working with all design office perimeters, Flight Test organization, Production organization, Airworthiness and Safety office…

Your main contributions will be :

• Define Ascendance Data Model 

  • System engineering data model to be matured 

  • Configuration management 

  • Test activities

  • EBOM/MBOM link to Airframe DMU

• Set up the data model within our PLM tool

  • Define the needed attributes

  • Define the roles and associated rights

  • Implement in a Pre-Prod environment and deploy in a Prod environment.

The job has been made for you if you have : 🛠

• You are an engineering school student or equivalent in the fields of Software development or aerospace,

• You have knowledge in software development (AML, XML, SQL, VB, C++, Javascript)

• You are a team player and a proactive person

• You are curious, enthusiastic and self driven.
