Process Engineer

Since 1985, CIRA has specialized in industrial instrumentation, particularly in regulation, testing, commissioning, diagnostics, and supervision of works. We operate internationally, primarily as a subcontractor for major industrial companies and system integrators.

Work Environment 

Join the Expertise and Technical Support Department, whose main missions are to provide support to operational units as well as to our client’s energy transition projects (hydrogen in the form of ammonia, CO₂ liquefaction, biomethane, etc.). 

Travel within France (Montoir-de-Bretagne et Fos-sur-Mer) will be required. 

Missions  

• Conduct a variety of technical studies for the three LNG terminals, such as: process optimization studies, reliability studies for maintenance, equipment sizing, and failure analyses. 

• Contribute to expert operational assessments of facilities operating modes in order to compare operations with others or against a given reference framework; identify weaknesses or anomalies. 

• Contribute to modification, renovation, or new equipment installation projects at the terminals, by preparing feasibility studies or technical specifications. 

• Contribute to the development of new competencies, particularly those in connection with the energy transition, such as small-scale CO₂ or biogas liquefaction, methanation, etc.

Skills  

• General Engineering degree (Master’s level) or equivalent. 

• Ability to quickly adapt to new topics and take on a variety of challenges. You will be encouraged to take initiative and further develop your skills. 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Proficiency in French and English is essential.
