Job description

As a Process Engineer Intern, you will support our engineering team in designing, testing, and optimizing Epyr’s thermal energy storage systems. This internship will expose you to a wide range of activities, from simulations and design to on-site testing.

Your missions include:

  • Assisting in the detailed design and optimization of our innovative industrial solution

  • Supporting supplier/client preparation and participating in on-site commissioning

  • Performing thermal simulations and analyzing experimental data

  • Evaluating materials and components (e.g. thermal behavior, aging)

  • Help identify innovations and build technical know-how

  • Collaborating with external partners on component sourcing and process integration

Profile

Profile We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in engineering (energy, mechanical, chemical, or similar)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

  • Demonstrated interest in decarbonization, energy systems, or industrial technologies

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, startup-like environment: hands-on, curious, adaptable

  • Experience with thermal systemslab testing, or simulation tools is a plus
