Epyr is on a mission to decarbonize industrial heat. We are developing next-generation Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems that enable industries to transition from fossil fuels to clean electricity. Our technology is designed to accelerate industrial decarbonization and support the reindustrialization of Europe.
Founded by:
Bastien Oggeri, serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Innovafeed
Léa Dardenne, former BCG partner specialized in energy and climate strategy
At Epyr, we operate by three core values: purposeful dreaming, relentless building, and excellence in execution.
Why Join Epyr
You will be part of a fast-growing team tackling one of the toughest climate challenges. You will work at the intersection of industrial technology, sustainability, and innovation, helping shape the future of clean heat.
As a Process Engineer Intern, you will support our engineering team in designing, testing, and optimizing Epyr’s thermal energy storage systems. This internship will expose you to a wide range of activities, from simulations and design to on-site testing.
Your missions include:
Assisting in the detailed design and optimization of our innovative industrial solution
Supporting supplier/client preparation and participating in on-site commissioning
Performing thermal simulations and analyzing experimental data
Evaluating materials and components (e.g. thermal behavior, aging)
Help identify innovations and build technical know-how
Collaborating with external partners on component sourcing and process integration
Profile We’re Looking For
Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in engineering (energy, mechanical, chemical, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Demonstrated interest in decarbonization, energy systems, or industrial technologies
Ability to work in a dynamic, startup-like environment: hands-on, curious, adaptable
Experience with thermal systems, lab testing, or simulation tools is a plus
