Travelers from all over the world can easily book a visit to cellars in Champagne, a tasting workshop in Burgundy, a stroll through the vineyards in Bordeaux, etc.

Today Winalist has partnered with around 1,500 wineries and offers 3000+ experiences in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and in the US.
We are looking for new talents to help us build the next leader in wine tourism.

Job description

Product Strategy & Vision:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning with Winalist’s business goals.

  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, bridging the gap between business and technical teams.

Roadmap Development:

  • Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is clear, concise, and reflects the needs of users and partners.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to create and update the product roadmap.

  • Ensure timely delivery of features and updates that align with the roadmap.

Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather and document product requirements.

  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure the successful implementation of product features.

  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to guide the team and resolve roadblocks.

  • Continuously monitor and improve the development process to enhance productivity and quality.

User Experience (UX) Focus:

  • Ensure the platform delivers an intuitive and seamless user experience for both travelers and winery partners.

  • Regularly gather user feedback and analyze usage data to identify areas for improvement.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the platform, ensuring it meets business and user goals.

  • Use analytics tools to monitor product performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

Market Research & Innovation:

  • Stay informed about trends in wine tourism, e-commerce, and digital platforms.

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation to keep Winalist ahead of the competition.

Profile

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, ideally in the travel, tourism, or marketplace industries.

  • Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and experience working with development teams in an Agile environment.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with web and app development processes, including basic knowledge of APIs, UX/UI design principles, and analytics tools.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French or other European languages are a plus.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to inspire and align teams.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for understanding user needs and translating them into impactful solutions.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and managing multiple priorities.
