Production Engineer - Internship

At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. We focus our efforts in designing an innovative, safe, silent, clean and affordable aircraft that will be able to blend into existing infrastructures and regulations to ease its deployment and maximise social acceptance.

As a member of the production team, you will help us in building and developing the production organization for the new assembly and testing site of Ascendance  Flight Technology.

Working closely with the actual team, you will contribute to structure the stock management process of the facility and for creating and implementing efficient working procedures for logistic operations ( goods reception, entry/exit from stock, storage of toolings). 

One of your mission will also be to imagine and implement visual management in the facility to support communication within Ascendance , safety in the site, and productivity .

Your main contributions will be : 

• Analyse stock management needs for the facility.

• Imagine a stock management process and have it validated by management 

• Implement the process with the team ( production, quality)

• Monitor the stock management  process ( KPIs, Audits…)

• Define the  Visual Management of the facility and implement it 

• Help with problem solving within the facility.

• You are currently pursuing an engineering degree in manufacturing or aerospace

• You have a real desire to work in a production area, with highly specialized technicians, at the service of an ambitious and innovative project.

• Team spirit mandatory and abilities to work cross functionnaly

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
