Production Planner

Massilly has been manufacturing metal packaging (lids) for the food industry for over 25 years. Working as a member of the Supply Chain team, the production planner has the critical role of planning, scheduling and coordinating the production of Massilly North America’s products, raw materials, and maintaining the data integrity of the system.

• Schedule production lines to meet inventory and sales requirements

• Coordinate, monitor and control the movement of raw materials, work in progress and stock

• Analyze data to determine inventory trends; develop forecasts

• Liaise with sales regarding forecasts/orders update lead times 

• Assist in the development of replenishment strategies 

• Compile/ maintain inventory, sales, and production reports 

• Assist with the planning and scheduling workflow for each manufacturing sequence to meet sales forecasts and/or customer orders

• Backup support for the Inventory planner

• Responsible for reporting Food Safety and Quality concerns to Manager
