At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. Your role : 🔎
As a Production quality assurance manager, in a context of building our industrial organization, you will play a major role in creating our processes, our working instructions and will be in charge of having them applicated in the shopfloor.
During this development phasis, you role will be key to ensure the respect of the quality requirements at all operational levels: from the reception of parts until the assembly of A/C and testing. You will work in interface with engineering, production, test, and supply chain.
Hierarchically attached to the production direction, you represent the Quality function on your site and report functionally to quality direction
Your main responsibilities will be :
Organize and Control the Acceptance of delivered parts, in relation with engineering and supply chain
Follow and check the good application of the Manufacturing and conformityplan for our prototype
Metrological follow up of control toolings
Declaration and follow up of non conformities
Root cause analysis of non quality events
Accountable for good Stock management ( input - output, inventories)
Perform audit, control report during Ground test and flight test
Where do we stand?
You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed with many issues to tackle regarding communications networks and associated developments.

BAC+2/+5 in Quality assurance, mechanics
Good understanding of production environment
2 years of experience minimum in quality assurance in an aeronautical production environment.
Rigor, autonomy, integrity and team spirit are key for this mission
Intermediate English level is a plus le
Knowing Aeronautical norms is a plus ( EN9100, Part 21G…)
