Production Supervisor

About the role:

This Production Supervisor will support either our stamping and litho departments to supervise the operation of several high-speed production lines. While rotating between these areas, the supervisor will monitor progress toward department goals and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and productivity. 

What you’ll do:

• Direct production activities to meet process specifications, quality standards, and spoilage targets.

• Monitor compliance with quality standards and communicate food safety responsibilities to all staff.

• Plan, schedule, organize, and measure daily department workflows to meet goals.

• Prepare and maintain accurate records for production, quality, safety, and payroll.

• Supervise, coach, and mentor hourly personnel to maximize safety and productivity.

• Deliver on-the-job and classroom training to continuously develop employee skills.

• Foster and maintain positive employee relations and effective workplace teamwork.

• Address performance and conduct concerns promptly through appropriate corrective action.

• Enforce safety rules and regulations to build a proactive safety culture.

• Oversee equipment repair, maintenance status, and preventive maintenance efficiency.

• Manage seamless shift handovers to ensure continuous information exchange.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Post-secondary education is preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. 

• Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally suited for stamping and Litho environments.

• Demonstrated computer proficiency with MS Office.

• Intermediate English language skills (both verbal and written).

• Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.

• Proven ability to set clear objectives and hold team members accountable.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Team player with a positive attitude, tact, diplomacy, and a continuous work history. 

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the duration of the shift.

• Must be able to work rotating shifts (Days, Afternoons, Midnights)

• Compensation Package: $80,000 - $85,000 CAD annually + Profit Share Eligibility
