
At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. We focus our efforts in designing an innovative, safe, silent, clean and affordable aircraft that will be able to blend into existing infrastructures and regulations to ease its deployment and maximise social acceptance.

Your role: 🔎
Within our Program Team, you will be in charge of delivering project’s objectives within defined budgets and plannings, coordinating the activities from design stage to aircraft prototype integration, ground and flight tests campaigns.
You will manage transversally engineering, purchase, industrial, quality, commercial and finance teams to reach project’s/program’s objectives that will be monitored through Key Performance Indicators with regular reporting to the management.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Plan and execute the program being the main interface with the customer: consolidate budget & schedule, and propose strategic orientations
Proactively monitor program progress through Key Performance Indicators, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions
Manage risks, opportunities and program margins
Support the Team Leaders in all company functions to plan consistently their activity
Manage external relationships with our main partners and suppliers
Own the rituals that monitor the execution of the projects, liaising closely with other departments that must be involved
Propose and support actively any initiative to improve the program organization, processes & tools.

The job has been made for you if you: 🛠
A master degree (or equivalent) in Engineering
A strategic thinking and a practical approach
At least 5 years of experience as a Program/Project Manager in a complex environment (aerospace, automotive, hardware, etc.)
A practical knowledge of Project Management tools & best practices
An agile mindset
Fluent in French and in English
It would be even better if you:
Have experience in European funded projects
Have a strong technical background in battery engineering
Have managed a +3M€ budget program
