You will interface with customers in the scientific, earth observation, high-energy or nuclear fusion fields. You will need to understand the customer's needs and enable Bertin Technologies to serve them to the best of its ability with quality products/systems delivered on time.
Circulating information, ensuring that it is taken into account, taking a step back to analyze risks and implement corrective actions will be your daily routine.
Reporting to one of our Business Lines (Big Science, Space - New Space, or Defense and Security), your main responsabilities will be as follows:
Start projects by analyzing requirements and drafting task sheets;
Critically analyze proposed manufacturing ranges;
Initiate and monitor the supply of materials and tooling;
Draw up schedules and monitor progress in consultation with the workshop manager;
Report internally to your supervisor and externally to the customer;
Ensure compliance with Quality, Cost, Deadline and Customer Satisfaction criteria;
Draw up technical and economic proposals as part of the project or as part of your contribution to the company's business development.

This position requires good listening and reporting skills. Your organizational skills will be a major asset, particularly during the start-up phase and in regular reporting to our customers.
Are you a graduate of an engineering school or university course in physics, optics, materials and processes? Do you have experience in project management and working with production centers?
Are you passionate about optics and manufacturing technologies? Do you have excellent communication skills, both with teams and customers, and a remarkable ability to synthesize information? Are you fluent in English and ready to evolve in an international environment?
