Our client is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team.

As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Purchasing Manager in the procurement of goods required for their operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing purchase orders and requisitions
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in the management of inventory control
• Conduct research to identify potential new suppliers and evaluate existing supplier performance
• Prepare and maintain purchasing records and reports
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that purchasing processes are efficient and effective

• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
