At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. Le poste

Your role : 🔎

Directly reporting to the Quality Director, your main missions will be :

Support to Engineering Teams

  • Support internal teams in integrating quality from the earliest stages of development (design reviews, validation, requirements management).

  • Promote a “first time right” mindset — without unnecessary bureaucracy.

  • Train and raise awareness among engineers on the added value of quality (regulation, product reliability).


Supplier & Subcontractor Quality Management

  • Define supplier selection and evaluation criteria.

  • Deploy quality requirements to external partners and monitor their application.

  • Manage non-conformities, corrective action plans, and drive supplier improvement.


QMS Development & Deployment

  • Contribute to the implementation and evolution of the QMS (ISO 9001 / EN9100 in view).

  • Define and harmonize quality processes in collaboration with functional leads.

  • Develop simple, pragmatic tools and practices adapted to an agile, fast-growing organization.

Continuous Improvement & Non-Conformity Management

  • Identify and analyze internal and external issues or deviations.

  • Propose and follow up on concrete corrective and preventive actions.

  • Contribute to establishing a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Profil recherché

The job has been made for you if you have: 🛠

  • Engineering degree or equivalent, with a focus on Quality, Mechanics, or Electronics.

  • 2–5 years’ experience in development quality assurance, ideally in the aerospace or other highly regulated industrial sectors.

  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001 (knowledge of EN9100 is an asset).

  • Ability to make quality concepts accessible to technically focused teams.

  • Rigor, strong communication and teaching skills, team spirit, and pragmatism.

  • Professional level of English.
