Job description

Our new sales and business development manager will play a major role in the execution of our growth strategy, engaging with customers and leads to bring our expertise to new territories and expand our reach to new market segments and promote new service offerings. The sales and business development manager will be part of the sales team and report to the Director of strategy and business development. 

We are looking for a sales and business development manager to support the growth strategy of Aski-da Taldea group, especially our international development within the media & entertainment industry and beyond. 

  

Key responsabilities 

Sales and revenue growth 

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in international markets according to the company growth strategy. 

  • Develop and implement sales plans tailored to specific regions and client segments within and outside the media industry. 

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. 

  • Prepare and contribute to the drafting of responses to calls for tenders 

Client engagement 

  • Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers at customers and business partners across broadcasting and other industries. 

  • Analyze customer needs and present service offerings and solutions that align with their vision, create quotes and proposals accordingly. 

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. 

Account management 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention. 

Collaboration and Reporting 

  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the company’s market position in different territories. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the other sales managers, marketing and senior management. 

  • Support the development of promotional materials and campaigns targeting international audiences.

Profile

Qualifications and Skills: 

Experience 

  • 5 years of experience either in sales and account management, or in a customer-facing role within the media industry. 

Skills and Attributes 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. 

  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to business development and client management. 

  • Strong team player: demonstrates excellent collaboration skills by actively contributing to team goals, fostering open communication, and supporting colleagues to ensure collective success. 

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Knowledge of the media industry. 

Additional Requirements 

  • Fluency in French and English; additional languages are highly desirable. 

  • Strong cultural awareness and the ability to navigate diverse business environments. 

  • The role will involve travelling to visit leads, customers or industry events.
