Join Centrimex as Coimmercial Manager in Shanghai on a local contract.
Accelerate our China–Africa and French-speaking Europe trade lanes and systematize local performance. Reporting to the China Branch Manager, you will build the action plan, own the budget, and deliver against KPIs. You will negotiate top-tier carrier terms to support FOB and CFR sales, align Pricing and Operations, secure flawless execution, and turn market intelligence into revenue.
Responsibilities
Define the growth plan and steer KPIs for the China sales team.
Negotiate and manage contracts with end clients/direct customers (CFR) and enable FOB by sourcing best-in-market ocean/air rates and market insights locally.
Prospect new markets, widen target segments, attend trade shows/fairs/events, and elevate the brand.
Analyze needs, advise customers on our solutions, and evidence service reliability.
Qualify and develop leads (cold calling), convert prospects, then drive retention.
Conduct regular prospect/customer visits and act as technical lead in negotiations to initiate logistics validations (quotations, customer service).
Validate, sign, and monitor contracts while upholding professional standards.
Deploy action plans, communicate new solutions, and maintain relationships with vendors/carriers.
Structure commercial data: log meetings, notes, opportunities, and leads in the CRM; manage customer data and incident follow-up.
Organize personal and team workflows to deliver on time and at optimal cost.
About the team
You join the China Sales organization, reporting directly to the China Branch Manager. You lead a sales team and work closely with Pricing, Operations, and Overseas teams. The environment values autonomy, high standards, and collaboration, with strict CRM discipline and weekly pipeline reviews.
Master’s degree or equivalent (Bac+4/5) in business, logistics, or supply chain.
2–3 years in 3PL/freight forwarding, ideally with a book in Africa and/or France/Belgium/Italy.
Mastery of ocean and air, import/export, and contract negotiation with carriers/partners.
Ability to anticipate trends, build a growth plan, and lead a team to target.
Fluent Mandarin and English; French or another language is a plus.
What we offer
Local-contract position based in Shanghai, China.
Compensation per profile on a 13-month basis + bonus.
