You will join a satellite Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) team, providing support to AIT engineers and technicians. Your main tasks will include:
• Performing operations in ISO7 or ISO8 cleanrooms
• Reading and following assembly procedures
• Mechanical integration: assembling and integrating electronic equipment, mechanisms, satellite structures, and components such as electrical harnesses, RF harnesses (waveguides and coaxialcables), thermal protection (MLI), heaters, metallic/composite brackets and supports, etc.
• Carrying out bolted and bonded assemblies
• Using specific tools (torque wrench, test benches, lifting equipment)
• Test preparation: setting up and organizing the materials, equipment, and tools required forvarious mechanical, thermal, optical, and RF tests
• Equipment verification: inspecting and checking components and equipment prior to integration
• Documentation and reporting: documenting each integration step
• Identifying and reporting anomalies encountered during AIT
Required Skills:
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials
• Experience in assembling and integrating equipment, mechanisms, and satellite structures
• Proficiency in precision mechanical assembly techniques: fitting, torque tightening, bonding
• Ability to integrate electrical and RF harnesses
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment
• Strong sense of rigor, organization, and teamwork
• At least 2 years of experience in Satellite AIT
• Upper-intermediate level in English (B2 level)Formation souhaitée
VD / Higher National Degree/Technichal Degree in mechanics, in microtechnologies, watchmaking, in manufacturing or equivalent
Expérience minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally 2 years in a space environment.
