
Leonardo Belgium is seeking a Secure Infrastructure Architect to help define and build the foundations of a highly secured, fully isolated research environment. This facility will serve as a trusted ground where security measures and system architectures can be tested and validated against next-generation cybersecurity threats.
In this role, you will design, implement, and operate an infrastructure where strict isolation, hardware-based security controls, controlled data flows, and rigorously governed procedures are essential. You will collaborate with internal and international technical teams to ensure the infrastructure meets the highest assurance standards for confidentiality, integrity, and system resilience.

As a Secure Infrastructure Architect, you will have the rare opportunity to contribute to a high-assurance security program and to architect a one-of-a-kind environment for the protection against next-generation threats. You’ll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of classical IT security, advanced hardware components, and defense-grade infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
Defining design constraints based on requirements, risk assessments, and system infrastructure
Performing risk identification and impact assessments related to classified information management
Reviewing and validating system architectures and cybersecurity requirements
Supporting integration and hardening of trusted COTS/MOTS hardware and software components
Assisting in project phases including documentation, SRR milestone support, and design updates
Consolidating hardening guidelines and security best practices
Providing general IT architecture support during bidding and ongoing project phases
Mid-seniority level; autonomy and proactivity essential
Hands-on experience in restricted or classified environments, or strong understanding of operational security requirements
Expertise in hardware security, network isolation, and secure system deployment
Ability to work across security, IT architecture, and operational domains, translating requirements into actionable designs
Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills in international, multidisciplinary teams.
Eligible for EU-PSC (Personal Security Clearance)
