Are you an experienced accountant looking to take your career to the next level?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for our client to join their team in the industrial sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations and standards.

  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing key financial insights to support business decisions.

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements, including liaising with external auditors.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and performance management.

  • Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role, ideally in the industrial sector.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are a must.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
