Senior Business Analyst XML - EU Institutions Luxembourg

In order to support one of our clients, a large and famous European Public Institution in Luxembourg, we are looking for an IT Senior Business Analyst XML.

As Business Analyst, you will perform the following tasks:

• Analyse of document workflows based on XML technolgies.

• Analysis of business, functional and technical requirements;

• Analysis of stakeholders, organisational structures, business processes and data flows;

• Information systems architecture modelling and functional design;

• Preparation of system documentation (user guides, metadata documentation, XML schemas, process specifications, etc.);

• Participation in business, functional and technical workshops and meetings;

• Acting as an interface between business stakeholders and project teams;

• Analysis and documentation of structured document workflows and lifecycles, particularly XML-based documents in

• multilingual legislative environments;

• Metadata management and automated document routing/transformation workflows;

• Business Process Analysis (BPA), BPM modelling and business process reengineering activities;

• Production of business analysis deliverables, business process documentation and business architecture artefacts;

• Definition and design of functional mock-ups, wireframes and user interface prototypes;

• UX/UI design and web ergonomics activities;

• Administration of business analysis tools, repositories and documentation

Technical expertise and Qualifications

• Master's degree and minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience;

• Proven expertise in information systems architecture, business and functional analysis;

• Experience in software development, deployment and hosting activities;

• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and modelling frameworks (Agile/Scrum, BPM/BPMN, UML, Design Patterns, Use Cases, etc.);

• Proven experience with XML, structured document formats, document workflows and related tools;

• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS);

• Experience in web ergonomics and user experience (UX);

• Experience in creating style guides, pattern libraries and design systems;

• Ability to develop prototypes using HTML, XHTML, JavaScript and CSS;

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with development teams.
