Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in business architecture methodologies and a proven ability to align corporate strategy with operational execution. This role is pivotal in shaping our business transformation initiatives, ensuring that strategic objectives are effectively translated into operational models and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive business architecture models that support AXA’s strategic goals.

• Bridge the gap between corporate strategy and operational execution by translating strategic objectives into actionable business capabilities and processes.

• Apply various business architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Business Architecture Guild frameworks, BIZBOK) to analyze and design effective business solutions.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to define strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with business capabilities.

• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and stakeholder engagements to gather requirements and validate architecture models.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and organizational change.

• Support the development of roadmaps for business capability evolution and transformation programs.

• Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging trends in business architecture and insurance operations.

• Ensure documentation standards and governance processes are adhered to for all architecture artifacts.

• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and refine the enterprise architecture framework, encompassing business, technical, and application architectures.

• Good understanding of technological advancements (especially AI), and their potential applications in insurance, to continually enhance architectural practices and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in business architecture or enterprise architecture within insurance or financial services.

• Deep knowledge of business architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, BIZBOK, or equivalent.

• Proven experience in building and integrating enterprise architecture models across multiple domains to enable large-scale business transformation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

• Proven track record of connecting corporate strategy with operational execution.

• Experience with process modeling tools and enterprise architecture tools is a plus.

• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and senior executives.
