Senior Database Developer (H/F/X)

To support one of our clients, a leading European institution responsible for shaping global diplomatic strategies, Leonardo Belgium is seeking a talented Database Developer to join our team in delivering essential services under a new framework contract. Recruitment Process :

• Step 1 : Introductory call

• Step 3 : Pass a technical test (Online evaluation platform IKM)

• Step 4 : If we have the completed technical questionnaire, the results of the IKM test, and your Europass CV we can submit your application for official review

• Step 5 : If your application gets accepted for the next step, a face-to-face technical interview in Brussels will be scheduled

We are looking for a Database Developer who will be able to :

• Design, implement, and maintain the database layer of multi-tier applications

• Conduct data analysis, data modeling, and physical database design

• Develop and maintain stored procedures for databases

• Develop, maintain, and integrate database components

• Conduct prototyping activities

• Write and update application code to meet business requirements and technical specifications

• Integrate databases with applications and other corporate information systems

• Elaborate on and execute database test scenarios, including the definition of test data sets

• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize databases

• Generate technical documentation

• Provide support for the deployment, configuration, and tuning of databases

Experience - Requirements

• At least 10 years of proven experience in a database development environment

Soft Skills

• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment

Hard skills

• Relational Database Systems: Proficiency in relational database systems

• Database Design: Good knowledge of data modeling and database design techniques and tools (e.g., Developer Data Modeler)

• SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases

• PL/SQL: Proficient in PL/SQL for developing stored procedures and functions

Tools and Methodologies

• DBD Tools:

  • Oracle SQL Developer

  • PL/SQL Developer

  • SQL Developer 21.2

• IDEs: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, JetBrains PhpStorm, Microsoft Visual Studio Code

• Project Management: Confluence JIRA, ServiceNow

• Methodologies: PM² and PM² Agile, Kanban, Scrum

Certifications (Preferred)

• At least one of the following:

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)

  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
