Job Description:

As the Senior Network Engineer at ENDENA Consulting in Riyadh, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures for our clients in the Middle East and Asia. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and performance across various projects in construction, hospitality, and real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and secure network solutions for our clients, aligning with their business needs and industry standards.

• Manage and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of network services.

• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and applications.

• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

• Monitor network performance using tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds, and generate reports for continuous improvement.

• Automate network tasks using scripting languages like Python and PowerShell to enhance efficiency.

• Stay updated with the latest network technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing network infrastructures.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Network Engineering or a related discipline is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and network security protocols is highly desirable.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).
• Expertise in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.).
• Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
