Hubcycle CDI

À propos de Hubcycle

The company

30% of global agricultural raw materials end up as wasted resources. In other words, 6% of our global carbon emissions are generated for nothing. That’s it.

At Hubcycle, we are reshaping the food industry by transforming overlooked by-products into competitive ingredients. Our approach hacks conventional supply chains, demanding boldness, peak performance, pragmatism, and collaboration. However, this does not prevent us from upholding and delivering the highest food safety standards.

We act as professionals, always.

Our culture

We believe a great workplace is about working alongside exceptional people who push us forward. We cultivate a culture of excellence, ownership, and impact, ensuring that each person at Hubcycle contributes meaningfully to our mission.

This requires creativity, resilience, and a hunger to challenge the norm. We are not here to play it safe; we are here to build a company that changes how the world sources food.
We move fast. We expect excellence.
We challenge each other constantly. We don’t hide behind excuses. We don’t tolerate mediocre standards, negligence, nor carelessness.
This environment is demanding and high-impact but deeply rewarding.
Let’s be clear: Even if this sounds sexy, Hubcycle is not for everyone.

So please read on.

Our mission

We buy what others discard.

We spot and assess agri-food by-products, turning them into high-quality, competitive & sustainable ingredients.

We’re not just avoiding waste, we’re rethinking the supply chain, creating a fully upcycled ecosystem for tomorrow’s food.

By connecting industry players to untapped resources, Hubcycle boosts circularity and food access, doing more, with less.

Purpose of the Role :

The Senior Product Manager role at Hubcycle is designed for someone who can lead an ambitious technical roadmap end-to-end — from shaping the architecture with an external team to building in-house proprietary features and a proprietary tech stack. As Hubcycle’s first in-house Senior Product Manager, this role owns product strategy for the whole company and turns our impact-driven mission into products that members genuinely love and use.

Beyond the roadmap, this position moves Hubcycle from outsourced delivery to owned product capability. The Senior Product Manager will help set the product vision, ship real products hands-on, and make experimentation and AI-native building the default way of working — accelerating delivery while de-risking the tech stack.

With equal command of strategy and execution, this role requires someone who is both technical and commercial, hands-on and visionary — as comfortable vibe coding a prototype and challenging an ops team’s read and rallying distributed teams around a shared direction.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Vision & Roadmap

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for the whole product area, ensuring alignment with Hubcycle’s mission and business objectives.

  • Translate business needs into a sequenced, deliverable roadmap, balancing building of a solid, documented architecture, and quick wins.

  • Be accountable for outcomes, not just output — define and track the metrics that matter.

Architecture & In-house Tech Stack

  • Partner with external engineering teams to shape the technical architecture and ensure it scales.

  • Drive the transition from outsourced delivery to in-house proprietary features and a proprietary tech stack.

  • Apply strong information architecture (IA) knowledge to structure the product, data and information flows.

  • Make sound build/buy and prioritisation trade-offs, managing technical dependencies and risk.

AI, Experimentation & Data

  • Ship real product yourself prototyping and vibe coding to validate ideas hands-on.

  • Build and ship AI-powered features, using AI tooling to move fast from idea to working prototype.

  • Maintain high quality and pace across both discovery and delivery.

  • Run experimentation as your default operating mode

  • Work closely with the teams to deliver team-led features that have a quick impact and include them into the roadmap

Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Manage developers directly or indirectly — hiring, coaching, hard feedback and performance calls.

  • Promote and encourage a tech and AI-driven culture company wide

  • Influence without authority across functions.

  • Talk to stakeholders and business owners often — because you like doing it — and let what you hear genuinely change your direction.

  • Translate member insight into concrete product decisions.

Reporting Structure & Collaboration :

Reports to: Chief Finance & Operations Officer

Works closely with: external engineering / architecture teams, and cross-functionally with Sales, Sourcing, Logistics, Quality and other key business teams across geographies. Engages directly with members for discovery and feedback.

Profil recherché

Qualifications & Experience :

  • 6+ years of product-related experience, currently operating at Lead or Group PM level, or as a Founder — you’ve owned strategy for a whole area, not a single team.

  • You’ve managed developers directly or indirectly: hiring, coaching, hard feedback and performance calls.

  • You’ve shipped real product yourself, especially growth products.

  • Experimentation is how you work, not something you ask others for — A/B testing, statistical significance, attribution; you can challenge a data team and catch a bad read.

  • You’re close to AI: you’ve built AI products and are adept at vibe coding.

  • Solid information architecture (IA) knowledge and strong technical fluency — comfortable working with engineers on architecture and the tech stack : SQL, python, vibe coding / IA

  • Ability to influence without authority — rallying distributed teams around a shared vision and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and geographies.

  • You talk to members often, you like doing it, and what you hear actually changes your mind.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, adapting to constant change.

  • English fluency is required; French is a nice-to-have.

  • Hubcycle’s mission genuinely matters to you.
