Le poste

Senior Sales manager is responsible for generating revenues for the company on both business lines: ATEA & STERNA. To do so, the Senior Sales Manager will identify relevant prospects, engage them and negotiate contracts. He/She will have a complete responsibility over his/her own prospects from identification to contractualisation.

The Senior Sales Manager will also be responsible for negotiating contract with prospects on both products ATEA & STERNA based on existing contractual documentation but also on helping evolve those documents when needed. 

The Senior Sales manager will also be responsible to implement best practices in the Marketing & Sales dept.: pipe reviews, follow-up on prospects, conversion of prospects into contracts, marketing methods for system and components and/or marketing methods for aircraft sales.

Depending on the context and opportunities, the Senior Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing the answer to call for tenders.

The Senior Sales manager will interact with:

  • Lead Marketing: to better prepare Sales pitch by working on dedicated economic/performance/use-case studies to improve a specific prospect’s sales pitch

  • Lead Marketing: to participate in the animation of CARE group especially with regards to the customers he/she contributed to sign-in

  • CCO & Marketing team: to report customers requirements to pass them over to engineering if needed

  • CCO: to elaborate the commercial strategy and topline forecasts

His/her responsibilities range from:

  • You are getting deals done to achieve (or exceed!) sales targets and company objectives

  • You identify promising prospects and maintain a qualified sales funnel with a constant link to prospect to convert them from prospects to customers and ambassadors. You’re taking care of these prospects from identification to contractualisation

  • You identify quickly customers pain points and are capable of tailoring your proposal and approach to better meet their needs

  • You create new opportunities based on an in-depth understanding of the market needs as well as the company capabilities

  • You negotiate contracts with prospects through effective negotiation of terms, conditions, pricing and commitments that enhance  profitability and business relationship with customers.



YOU ARE OUR CUSTOMERS VOICE INTERNALLY

  • You report back customers requirements to Engineering and Marketing to better understand what the market needs and adapt our products adequately

  • You work in close relationship with Marketing to organize customer events to better understand their needs and transform them into ambassadors for the company

YOU DRUMBEAT THE SALES PROCESS

  • You are responsible for the follow-up of the sales pipeline throughout the team

  • You share your best practices and process improvements idea to get our Sales Dept. to the next level

Profil recherché

Knowledge / Hard skills

  • 10+ years of experience in aircraft sales or system/component sales in aviation

  • Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft sales OR aeronautic equipment/systems sales

  • Demonstrated excellent customer relation skills

  • Fluent in English

  • In-depth knowledge of the aviation industry and its value chain

  • Knowledge of eVTOL industry and eVTOL technologies

  • Knowledge of hybrid-electric or electric technologies in aviation

  • Knowledge of the defence industry and its specific processes
