Flying Robots (https://flying-robots.fr) is a start-up manufacturer of multi-mission cargo and surveillance drones. It designs soft-wing revolutionary drones whose architecture provides unique benefits within the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) industry. The drones are aimed to handle securely heavy and bulky payloads (up to 600 kgs), over long ranges (hundreds of kms) and endurance for a fraction of the costs incurred by existing aerial vehicles and at a low environmental impact

Le poste

After the success of the first flights performed with our full-scale prototype we are willing to receive multiple Letter Of Intentions (LOIs) from potential customers to secure our next fundraising rounds with investors. This will evidence and confirm the cargo drone market opportunity described by major market studies.   To achieve this goal, we are considering a part-time several-month internship. We are expecting LOIs from public or private companies acting in Logistics, Fleet Management in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Tasks

Understand the Flying Robots value proposition and unique selling points.

  • Identify and build a comprehensive list of contacts in the targeted regions, according to the required profiles communicated by the Flying Robots’s Business Development team.

  • Engage, communicate and evangelize Flying Robots’s benefits to potential future clients using any relevant channels (email, web site messaging, phone calls …).

  • Maintain a detailed report of those calls and outcomings

  • Sell Flying Robots and ultimately get LOIs

  • Provide any relevant constructive feed-back and insights gathered that could improve the Flying Robots Go-To-Market strategy.

Profil recherché

· English fluent

· Enthusiastic about aeronautics and especially drones

· Good communication skills to deal with multi-cultural, multi-language contacts at management/senior management levels

· Accustomed to digital as well as face-to-face selling techniques

· Result-oriented, organized, independent, and a team player

· This internship opportunity is ideally suited for a candidate specializing in “Action Commerciale” or Business Development practices
