We are looking for a Support Engineer to provide technical support to customer teams during testing and racing events.
You will act as a key technical interface between the technical office and customers, supporting all technical aspects from the preparation of technical bulletins to on-track assistance and documentation updates.
This role combines technical expertise, data analysis, and customer-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced motorsport environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Technical Customer Support
Prepare and issue clear and structured technical bulletins.
Provide on-site technical support during tests and race events.
Update and maintain car user manuals and technical documentation.
Deliver clear and concise solutions to customer technical issues.
Data Analysis & Troubleshooting
Download and analyze data acquisition (WinTax, Life Racing or equivalent).
Quickly identify performance issues or technical faults.
Provide structured feedback and corrective action proposals.
Maintain proper tracking of recurring issues.
Vehicle Dynamics Support
Support customers during pre-event testing and race weekends.
Apply solid understanding of vehicle dynamics to guide setup decisions.
Interface effectively with both professional and gentleman drivers.
Reporting & Technical Feedback
Produce structured and concise post-event reports.
Compile clear issue lists with short, actionable descriptions.
Contribute to centralized technical documentation for the engineering office.
You have experience in a racing or rally environment with exposure to data analysis and customer support roles.
Technical Requirements
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Automotive, or related field).
Experience in rally or circuit racing, ideally in a technical support or engineering role.
Experience with data acquisition systems and data analysis.
Good understanding of vehicle dynamics.
Strong problem-solving capability.
Fluent technical English.
Personal Skills
Excellent technical communication skills — ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
Comfortable interacting with customers and non-professional drivers.
Able to work under pressure during race events.
Highly adaptable to last-minute changes and operational challenges.
