At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. Your role : 🔎

You will contribute to the definition of the System Engineering principles and associated V&V strategy applicable to programs. As our product is a brand new type of aircraft, you will contribute to define System Engineering rules within our company and PLM (Product Life Management) setup tool suite in order to ensure global coherency within different building blocks and ensure that all relevant means are in place with regards to ARP4754 and other development/safety standards applicable to our VTOL.

As integration of our systems is a key asset for permit to flight, you will be in charge to update, to industrialize our aircraft integration strategy.

In order to prepare next programs, you will contribute to the definition of MBSE principles and rules at early stages of development.

Your main responsibilities will:

  • Define/update System Engineering Data model

  • Define System Engineering processes/manuals/templates for current program having in mind future developments

  • Define / Update Program RVVMP, V&V Plans and other V&V deliverables requested for each milestone

  • Participate to the A/C Integration Strategy definition for prototype and final product. Strategy has to take into account the longer term certification in order to optimize the cost and time.

  • Support building Blocks V&V Managers

  • Be responsible for PLM implementation

  • Anticipate MBSE methods deployment for next program

Profil recherché

The job has been made for you if you have : 🛠

  • A master degree (or equivalent) from Aerospace Engineering or System Engineering

  • 10  years of experience in System Engineering deployment 

  • Incose certificate could be a plus

  • Skilled in data management

  • Knowledge in ARP4754 and SE handbook
