Job description
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader in MEP BIM and 2D Drafting for our office in Ho Chi Minh. In this role, you will lead a small team of modelers/drafters and ensure high-quality BIM and 2D deliverables for MEP packages.
Our scope of work covers the full project lifecycle, including 3D/2D modeling from point clouds during design phases, detailed construction drawings, and final as-built documentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & Coordination
· Supervise and mentor a team of BIM modelers and drafters.
· Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans, company standards, and project-specific requirements.
· Report to the Business Unit manager
- BIM Modeling & Data Management
· Develop and review detailed MEP BIM models (High voltage, Low voltage, Lighting HVAC)
· Oversee model accuracy, parametric data, and codification of elements for proper integration with project databases.
· Implement quality control processes to ensure consistency across models and drawing outputs.
· Technical clash detection and solving analysis.
- Construction Documentation
· Lead the production and review of execution drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details) directly from the model.
· Guarantee that drawings reflect the latest design revisions and site requirements.
· Manage 2D documentation for coordination with contractors and consultants.
- Compliance and support :
· Follow industry codes, standards, and project-specific BIM guidelines
· Assist MEP design/contractor manager/project teams in design revisions and troubleshooting
· Assist the Business Unit manager for quotation of new projects
Job Requirements
· Degree in MEP (or equivalent).
· Minimum 5 years of professional experience in MEP BIM/2D modeling and execution drawing production.
· Strong knowledge in MEP sizing and modeling good practices.
· Proficient in Revit (mandatory), with solid skills in AutoCAD; experience in energy modeling is a plus.
· Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
· Experience in leading or mentoring junior team members is strongly preferred.
