Technical Lead Endpoint / Modern Workplace

4. Key Responsibilities

A. Technical Leadership

• Lead architecture and implementation of endpoint transformation initiatives

• Define HLDs, LLDs, and solution designs for endpoint platforms

• Act as the technical decision authority for endpoint stream

B. Modern Device Management

• Lead migration of all endpoints to:

  • Entra ID join (no hybrid)

  • Microsoft Intune as the sole management platform

• Implement:

  • Windows Autopilot (zero-touch provisioning)

  • Automated application lifecycle management

• Drive:

  • Application rationalization and migration

  • Decommissioning of MECM and legacy infrastructure

C. Endpoint Security & Compliance

• Implement and optimize:

  • Defender for Endpoint

  • CIS-aligned security baselines

  • DLP, device control, application control

• Lead:

  • Endpoint Privilege Management (reduce admin access)

  • Vulnerability management integration (e.g., Tenable)

• Drive continuous improvement using Secure Score and compliance metrics

D. Delivery & Governance

• Own project plans, milestones, and deliverables

• Ensure compliance with:

  • Program governance framework

  • Security and IT policies

• Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations

• Ensure successful milestone sign-offs and acceptance

E. Stakeholder Management

• Interface with:

  • IT, Security, Network, and Application teams

  • Business stakeholders and vendors

• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies (network, identity, tooling)

F. Operational Readiness & Handover

• Deliver:

  • Runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge transfer

• Support:

  • Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR)

  • Hypercare phase

• Ensure transition to managed services / steady-state operations

5. Key Deliverables

• Endpoint project plans and migration strategies

• Device provisioning and Autopilot design

• Application deployment and automation frameworks

• Security architecture and SOPs

• Decommissioning and transition reports

• Operational readiness and handover documentation

6. Required Skills & Experience

Experience

• 15+ years in endpoint management / EUC / infrastructure transformation

• Proven experience in:

  • Large-scale endpoint migrations (>10K devices)

  • Enterprise IT transformation programs

Technical Skills

• Microsoft stack:

  • Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), Autopilot

  • Defender for Endpoint

• Strong knowledge of:

  • MECM / SCCM migration

  • Endpoint security frameworks (CIS, Zero Trust)

• Experience in:

  • Application packaging and deployment

  • ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)

  • Vulnerability tools (Tenable or equivalent)

• Hybride pour le lead  : Déplacement sur site 1 ou 2 semaines par mois pendant les 3 prochains mois, puis les déplacements pourront diminuer.
