As part of our organizational development and to support our growth, we are looking for a Tender & Cost Estimation Project Manager to join our office in Madrid.
Your key role is to lead and prepare the tendering and cost estimation process for EPC industrial projects (Engineering, Procurement, Construction). You will ensure the preparation of competitive and technically sound offers in response to national and international calls for tenders.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Analyze tender documents and client specifications for EPC projects (data centers, high-voltage substations, clean rooms, pharmaceutical facilities, etc.),
Coordinate internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, legal, finance) to build comprehensive and competitive offers,
Develop detailed cost estimates, including technical and commercial components,
Identify risks and opportunities associated with each project and propose mitigation strategies,
Make the preparation of bid documentation and ensure timely submission,
Participate in client negotiations and support contract finalization,
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market prices, suppliers, and subcontractors,
Contribute to continuous improvement of estimation tools and processes.
Regular travel to Spain and France is to be expected.
We are seeking a candidate with an engineering degree or equivalent (civil, electrical, industrial...) with a proven experience in cost estimation and tender management for EPC projects, along with a solid understanding of industrial project execution across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential, as is proficiency in estimation software and Excel. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required, while French or Portuguese would be an asset. The role also demands excellent communication and negotiation abilities to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
