  • Keolis commissioned a study on its strategy for operating and maintaining a fleet of trams in Angers. The study compared different maintenance strategies and assessed the impact of certain investments, as well as different work organisations, using simulations (calculation of fleet utilisation strategies and optimised maintenance plans) carried out with Artelys Crystal Resource Optimizer.

Job description

Working with a team of high-level consultants, you will mobilise your commercial and technical expertise, coupled with your interest in the transport sector, to carry out the following tasks:

  • You will play an active role in developing and implementing the company’s strategy for our transport-related offerings and services

  • Using your market expertise and professional network, you will develop commercial opportunities in order to create new partnerships and turn these opportunities into collaborations

  • You will work with the pre-sales teams to take part in the process of responding to European calls for tenders and calls for projects

  • You will develop the company’s knowledge of the sector through active monitoring of the transport sector, in order to identify and become familiar with the various players in the sector and their main current issues

  • You will be Artelys’ ambassador to the transport ecosystem, helping to raise its profile

  • You will be responsible for cultivating relationships of trust with a portfolio of customers, becoming their privileged contact who is able to listen to and give rhythm to discussions on their current and future issues

  • You will be involved in the software delivery projects

  • You will manage projects involving an internal team of 2 to 4 people

Profile

With 5 years’ higher education (business or engineering school diploma, master’s degree, doctorate), you are passionate about the transport sector and are keen to help develop its positive impact on the energy transition by implementing innovative and meaningful solutions. Your application will be highly valued if: 

  • You have at least 3 years’ experience in pre-sales of software or services

  • You have at least 3 years’ experience in the transport sector

  • You have good oral and written communication skills in French

Working conditions:

  • Permanent contract, managerial status with a 4-month probationary period.

  • Up to 2 days of remote work per week possible.

  • Flexible working hours.

  • Offices located in the city center of each city where we are located

  • You are able to reconcile the customer’s business vision, the technical vision of the consultants and developers, and the company’s economic vision.

  • You are motivated by project management and responsibility for a team, a budget and deadlines

  • You have an appetite for scientific and quantitative approaches

  • You are rigorous, a good listener, convincing and proactive, particularly during the pre-sales phases of projects

  • You have a minimum level of B2 in English

Any knowledge and experience of applied mathematics (operational research, data science, AI, etc.) or IT professions will be highly valued.

Recruitment process:

Step 1: An initial technical interview via video conference with two recruiters (45 minutes x 2).

Step 2: A second interview via video conference with two other recruiters, as well as a brief 15-minute discussion with the CEO of Artelys (45 minutes x 2 + 15 minutes).

Step 3: If your interviews are successful, we will invite you to visit our premises to make you an offer in person and introduce you to the work environment.
