Description du poste

The role of the SO Operations Support Engineer is to provide Level 2 support to the Sigfox Operators (SO) and key customers. To perform in this role you will need to be expert with Sigfox technology, tools, equipment and Network roll-out processes. Ultimately, will be a person our partners trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.


WIN/WIN MISSIONS:


As SO Operations Support Engineer you will have an active operational role towards Sigfox Operators mainly on Europe region but also and potentially for any other SO in the world. Your main responsibilities will be :

Level 2 support


  • Take ownership of partners issues reported and see problems through to resolution
  • Execute operational processes (Incident management, Request Fulfilment, Change Management) by managing tickets escalated by Sigfox Level 1 support team. Thus provide deep technical expertise to SOs on the whole Sigfox offer, leveraging on other Sigfox departments if needed.
  • Be Operations & Deployment Stream owner for SOs under your responsibility and thus :

o   Plan, Prepare and Deliver SO training plan (Operations & Deployment topics)

o   Handle monthly meeting

o   Follow-up SO Coverage Commitment and SLAs

  • Be responsible of SO satisfaction with Operations & Deployment topics

 

Practice and cross-functional activities

 

  • Apply and contribute to Operations & Deployment Processes optimization
  • Provide value added feedback to Product Marketing team on Sigfox Products and Services
  • Contribute to Sigfox products and services definition, development and deployment

Description du profil

KEY SKILLS & MINDSET :


  • Engineering degree with 2-3 years of experience in telecommunication
  • Background in Technical Support Management with strong operational service orientation
  • Good level of technical literacy is expected for this job, with experience or strong interest in following domains:

- Wireless systems and Networks, Radio interface implementation

- IoT connected objects implementation

- Embedded Systems (HW & SW)

- Programming and Scripting

- IT
