Saijan Lomakartano is a cozy countryside tourism company located in Taivalkoski, on the shore of Lake Jokijärvi.

During the winter season, we organize husky safaris, snowmobile tours, skiing, and snowshoeing trips. We are now looking for a Wilderness Guide to join our team. The main responsibility will be leading husky safari tours.

Mission:
You will lead and supervise adult groups on our husky safari, hiking and snowmobile tours around Saija Lodge. Your role includes ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all participants, while strictly applying and upholding safety standards for both equipment and guests.

Requirements:

• Relevant education or work experience, or willingness to train in the field

• Responsibility and ability to work as part of a team

• Initiative and capability to work independently

• Positive, flexible, and hardworking attitude

• Good command of English (other languages, especially German, are an advantage)

• Valid certifications: First Aid level 2, Hygiene Passport, and at least a category B driving license
